OK. This time the no update is due to me. SORRY!

It’s just that it has been so long that I forgot the process I used to post quickly. I know it is hard to believe, but it takes HOURS to reformat images to fit the blog and to post them. It takes about 5 hours for me to post 10 updates in a day. Keep in mind, I’m resizing dozens of images and creating almost as many thumbnails. Then there is all this silly stuff that needs to get done so that the SEO (blogger thing) works out.

Anyway, I had some ideas to streamline the process. However, I kept putting off doing the work. So, I figured instead of relearning what I used to do I might as well implement a better process.

Thank you for your patience and for sticking with me. When it’s all said and done I’ll be able to do more posts in a shorter amount of time.

I got the computer back. I have this sinking suspicion that it isn’t fixed yet. I’m going to do some testing, so we’ll see . . .

If it is still broke, then I’ll drop it off this weekend. I’m going to try to get a few pics up first!

Someone replied to my post about a new tactic with the comment “MADARCHOOD”. I have no idea what it means, but it sounds like a reasonable battle cry against the woes of the month. MADARCHOOD! MADARCHOOD! MADARCHOOD!

Fortunately, I’ll be getting my computer back next week. So, things should return to normal.

I finally have a replacement computer! You may find this hard to believe, but it takes several different applications to bring these pics to you. One creates thumbnails. Another resizes the large pics. Yet another FTP’s the files to the server (so they are visible on site). I also use a couple of applications like photoshop to adjust pics when needed.

I need to get all these applications downloaded and then I should be good to go. So, hopefully it will only be a day or two before I’m back on schedule.
